We maintain a herd of approximately 150 Peruvian, Bolivian and colorful Chilean alpacas that are produced outstanding North American offspring. We specialize in white, fawn, red and black in both suri and huacaya.
Our emphasis is on good health, excellent conformation and top quality fiber producing animals with post sales support surpassed by none. Equally important is our desire to serve the alpaca industry with integrity as we look forward to an extensive and productive future. What Do We Offer? ALPACAS of Tualatin Valley, LLC provides offspring from Champion lineage! Proven SURI studs currently available are the lustrous and silky white Zeus who produces stunning babies, many with color who are also Champions in the show ring! We also have available the gorgeous silky red fibered Michener who is undefeated in both halter and fleece where he won the 2006 Suri Network's first coveted and unanimous Judges' Choice Award emphasizing his fineness and luster at five years of age. Also take a look at Pacific Pride and Hershey's Hugo, both from well known and coveted lineage whose babies are remarkable. We are proud to offer perfect conformation as well as uniformly locked fiber with high luster on all our suri studs and their offspring. How about HUACAYA? Are you looking for silver-gray? You can choose offspring from Silver Magnum whose cria have tightly crimped fleeces or Fogoso whose cria carry on that famous Rayo del Sol head. Polaris, a beige, is our Royal Fawn/Legacy male whose babies are very nice, carrying the fine long staple of their sire. Last but not least, if you are looking for white, we are offering Mojave, an outstanding, dense and fine fibered male Champion with bloodlines unrelated to most whose offspring are lovely with their bright bundled fleece. She has a deep love of these wonderful creatures and it shows in her management. She has developed an outstanding nutrition program with the assistance of renowned nutritionists, and works tirelessly with distinguished veterinarians to maintain the health and well being of her herd. She has strived to build one of the finest and most diverse small herds in the nation. John is a retired electronics engineer and manufacturer of solid-state
equipment. After 40 corporate years, John finds great satisfaction in
designing equipment at his leisure for use with the alpacas. His first
nationally recognized invention was the
UltraVac designed
to ease Lona's workload in pasture maintenance. It quickly caught on
and sold countrywide. John also developed the
Frank Fountain,
a heated and easy to clean automatic water system and continues to come
up with new and innovative ideas. |
