Casanova's Silver Strike

Update 4/30/11: I just acquired a 2010 histogram that was taken by a person who was interested in though didn't purchase Striker last year. I sent them a 2010 fleece sample and think it completes a positive picture when consolidated with his shearing information below.

Striker is the son of the 2003 Herdsire of the Year, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and out of a silver Peruvian Black Magic daughter, so this is a powerhouse of high quality genetics!

Stiker inherited the lovely dense, crimpy and soft handling fiber of his sire. He showed in the fall just days after his first birthday and came in second in a very tough class though he was the youngest. You can see from his shearing record that he is a consistent fleece producer.

Striker is truly underutilized with only five registered cria, three belonging to ATV. Yes, we are keeping his offspring as they have the same lovely guard-free fleeces. If you are looking for a stud capable of improving most dark colored fleeces, Casanova's Silver Strike would be a great addition to your herd.
